Experience
I have acquired a master's degree in educational leadership and my bachelor's degree in special education from Minnesota State University Moorhead. I currently work as a special ed. teacher. However, I also have experience working with other students that range from kindergarten to twelfth grade. I have worked with both disabled children and children that were gifted. It is not an exaggeration when I say that I absolutely love learning. Because of my love for learning, I also have a love for teaching. I truly believe that every student can accomplish whatever it is he or she puts his or her mind to. I understand that each student learns differently and it is my responsibility to tailor to the needs of each individual's way of learning. As for my tutoring style, I enjoy having a bond with my students. These meaningful relationships allow for trust between the student and I. I like to think that my sense of humor is also one of my best personality traits. I like to make learning fun. I am currently offering my tutoring services in several different levels of mathematics, ACT preparation, reading, SAT preparation, writing, essay editing, grammar and mechanics, literature, phonics, and elementary/middle science. When I am not busy tutoring, I am usually either performing yoga, reading, cooking, or going to the movies.
